Thanks to fundraising by Greenman PTO, The Events committee, Greenman families and staff, donations from City of Aurora Alderman Bill Donnell and assistance with funds from SD 129 we were able to purchase our digital marquee.

Languages spoken at Greenman Elementary School, such as:
English, Spanish, Nepali, Arabic, Karen, Burundi, Dari, Kinyarawanda, and French!
Greenman's own SOS (Students Offering Services) Club raised this amount to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
In 2005, the new Greenman Elementary School building was awarded the Grand Prize for Architectural School Design!
The original Greenman was established in this year, and was later named Greenman Elementary School after Arthur V. Greenman, who was the superintendent for West Aurora schools from 1890 to 1909.
Famous artist Wendell Minor graduated from Greenman Elementary School. This year, a local street was named after Wendell Minor for his contributions to the world of art as well as for his positive representation of the Aurora community!
