Mr. Cliff Englishharden
My name is Cliff Englishharden and I have been with West Aurora District 129 since 2014 as the Principal of Greenman Elementary School. This is my 22st year in the field of education. I have taught at both elementary and middle school levels. I am a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago, Eastern Illinois University, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have two boys, Evan and Ian so I am familiar with the parent side of education. I enjoy each day working with students, staff, parents, and the community. It’s a privilege to serve you.
Mrs. Regina Garrity
I started my West Aurora School District career in 2018 and I am the Assistant Principal at Greenman Elementary. I come to West Aurora School District 129 with 10 years teaching experience as a fifth grade teacher, middle school math teacher and K-8 science coach. My varied teaching experience has been extremely rewarding and has also inspired me to pursue school leadership.
Greenman Elementary is a place where children grow academically, socially and emotionally. It is a place where diverse thinking and cultures are embraced. It is also a place where all children feel safe and are welcomed in a student centered learning environment.
My professional goal as an administrator is to provide all students with an excellent education and inspire a lifelong culture of collaboration, innovation, and leadership, not limited to the scope of academics. At Greenman Elementary, my goal is to build trusting and respectful relationships with our students and staff in order to meet the needs of each child. In addition to hard work and perseverance, strong partnerships with our families and community will be instrumental in achieving my goal. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to collaborate with our school. Thank you in advance for your time and support. I anticipate a wonderful upcoming school year and it is my pleasure to serve the students, staff and parents of Greenman Elementary.
